Diversity Is Key:Plants For Pollinators & Pest Control #LS411

Tue. July 18| 8:15 AM - 9:15 AM | A210 - A212

Explore how a diverse selection of perennials, shrubs, and trees are attractive to pollinators AND enhance natural control of plant pests. When a landscape of carefully selected plants is maintained in a way that protects pollinators, predators and parasitoids in turn provide a high level of plant protection. Selective management strategies will also be discussed for saving problem-prone trees and shrubs. (Eligible for 1 LA CES/HSW credit)
